Submit your abstract

The Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN) and the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS) are inviting you to actively participate in combined IM 2022 and NEUDOS-14 conference which will be a unique occasion for the exchange of views and experiences in the area of radiation physics, individual monitoring of ionizing radiation and dosimetry. We look forward to receiving abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the program as oral or poster presentations.

 

Submission

Submission deadline6 December 2021, 15 January 2022 - only posters

The abstract submission is possibleonly online. Abstracts submitted by fax or mail will not be accepted. Please follow very carefully the instructions before submitting the abstract. Abstracts will be online for review by the author until the submission deadline, 6 December 2021,  15 January 2022 (23.59 hrs CET). Submitted abstracts will be treated as confidential and will only be shared to the Scientific Committee.

 
Abstract submission can be done only online after registration on the conference website.

Style

The abstract, should not exceed 3400 characters (approx. one A4 page), incl. spaces and punctuation. The abstract must be written in English and should provide a clear description of the aims, methods and results of the study. Concluding remarks and acknowledgments may be given at the end. Emphasis should be on the technical and/or scientific results of the study.

  • New developments in external photon dosimetry
  • New developments in neutron dosimetry including instrumentation and techniques
  • New developments in internal dosimetry
  • Micro- and nano-dosimetry
  • Dosimetry of radon exposures
  • Neutrons and ions in medicine (dosimetry for proton, ion radiotherapy, BNCT and fast neutron, radiotherapy, patient dosimetry)
  • Emergency exposure situations including retrospective dosimetry
  • Physics-biology interface (radiobiology for therapy and dosimetry, models and calculations at cellular and subcellular scales)
  • Individual Monitoring and Dose Assessment at workplaces
  • Computational Dosimetry and Phantoms in individual Monitoring
  • Dosimetry in space applications including aircrew
  • Individual monitoring services, quality assurance, type testing, calibration facilities
  • International and European standards and recommendations
  • Intercomparions and Standardization
  • Education, Training and networks on individual monitoring

Please note that the Congress Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final topic.

 

Acceptance notification and publication

All abstracts received by the indicated deadline will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, based on their technical and/or scientific quality. Acceptance, together with technical details for presentation (oral or poster), will be notified only to the submitting author by 10 December, 2021, 20 December, 2021. Accepted abstracts will be included in the book of abstracts.
